Why do we let people down sometimes?

Do you forgive others when they make honest mistakes? If so, why not do the same for yourself?

You can't possibly please everyone all of the time...others tend to place unreal and unreasonable expectations on us and we just can't live up to all of them because we are only human and also imperfect. You should not be afraid to say 'No'. If they have an issue with that then that is THEIR problem, not yours.

...because we’re not perfect creatures, no matter what some believe. We can strive to never be someone who lets anyone down, but expectations will always exist in a world that can seek unrealistic things from us here and there. We simply cannot live up to certain expectations others put on us and that’s okay, especially when those expectations make us stray too far from our true selves. Just be a decent human being, don’t allow the wake behind you to overly ruin the journey others are on, and know that those who truly know and care for you understand that perfection is just an illusion.

Well it depends on the expectations of the other person. The only thing I expect from anyone is that they are true to their word. Other than that I don't feel anyone owes me anything and I don't ask anyone for anything unless I'm in need and even then I'll compensate them for whatever they do. I'm a big believer in balance if someone is in need of you so much that you are constantly letting them down that doesn't sound like the best kind of relationship to be in.

Just gotta move on and hope for improvement in the future. Its unavoidable a lot of the time since everyone has different expectations

You need to stop doing that...that's all there is to say. Choose to not do it

Cause we expect too much from ourselves and others and they do the same

Were human and humans aren't perfect. Forgive yourself and move on
