I fell on my knee and jacked it up. Can i just be placed in the old decrepit folks home already?

@rckt148 that bites big time you had total quacks for doctors and completely missed what was wrong with you and made you suffer. I have read they have developed artificial disks. you would be prime candidate for them. they cant go in cut out the bone spurs? put in artificial knees so you can walk again?? va is famous for lousy medical care. you should get on Medicaid and then you can get better care in regular hospitals.

The VA tried to force me into another drug programs ,
I had a VA doctor put me back on my medication ,,she was the one who told me about all the recommendations to never let me have narcotics again ,but after looking at the MRI's that were current ,,she cried ,and said it was a shame that over the screw ups of others I had been forced to suffer but she was fixing the problem ,,,it took 4 months for the computer to even allow her to prescribe my 120 (5 mg Oxycodone ) ,then she is offered a position in Virginia ,and passed me off to the spinal cord injury specialist ,
He makes me watch a video of the President saying he was ending the opioid crisis and then tells me I no longer fit the new guidelines ,I have until January to be in the drug treatment program or I was going it alone ,He has no choice ,he is cutting my pain meds off again ,,,but if I get on SUBOXONE ,,an even stronger Narcotic then the oxycodone ,,he can guarantee for at least the next 18 yrs no one will take that drug away from me ,he is the only one authorized to write the script for them and he will be my pain management doctor from now on ,,,if I will just say I am in need of help I am addicted to narcotics ,,,,,and I would have screwed myself again and lost my right to bear arms ,,,,not happening
As to removing spurs they say they look like crystals all through my body
The autoimmune disease eats away ,my body tries to repair the damage ,I end up with something that looks like sand spurs ,,As to cutting on me again the Specialists ,,,,more than one ,,says as long as I can function as well as do
They recommend no more surgery ,none ,they have cleared my meds with the government ,,I do meet the guidelines ,,and I am a very wise man not to let the VA make me sign Anything saying I am dependent to anything ,,my pain is real ,,the damage is severe ,and my disease aggressive ,,they will do their best to keep me comfortable ,,but no more surgery
You don't seem to get ,,the more they mess with things ,the worse my nerve damage could be ,,and now I am also battling Sugar Diabetic ,all the time I was inactive ,dealing with pain the 2 yrs they took my meds away ,
its taken a huge toll on me ,,and I have a 10 yr old son ,
I am at least here with him ,,I am still able to walk ,even work a little
Take care of myself and my home ,,,I have been on Medicare 24 yrs
I fought to make the VA do what was right ,,,every time I won,,the CDC and DEA changed the laws ,,now they have finally accepted my doctors recommendations
The VA has been made aware they screwed up ,,so I am happy ,its a victory that came to late ,,but at least I won
My statues had been lowered back down to a low risk ,my scripts are written for 3 months at a time ,,I only have to do a UA 4 times a year verses 12
The Pharmacy never gives me crap and all the hassles I got every single month from the VA ,I pay $12 for a visit ,meds are only $6.00 a month
I get pain blocks every 3 months lower back and shoulder .
The VA manages my sugar and my heart ,Pain management takes care of my pain
I pay my deductible over 3 months starting in January ,,so everything is better
My Daughter tried to get me to go outside the VA yrs ago ,but lots of people were looking at how they treated me ,,it gave them hope when I won ,,scared the crap out of them when I lost ,,,now most of them signed the admission they are dependent on narcotic ,,soon they will all loose their CCW permits
They are to high risk to carry fire arms ,,,I will not allow that to happen to me ,,they can take my pain pills ,they can't have my gun
I can feed my family very well with my guns when the government no longer can .I owe no one anything that I can't pay off in full by selling one of my guitars ,,,,no one has me over a barrel ,and no one will ever again
I have been this way most of my life ,,,since my swine flue vaccine anyway
if this is the cost for serving my country ,,I have no regrets
I would do it again ,,I am glad I had the chance to serve

@rckt148 there is arthroscopic surgery they can go in with a small hole and take out spurs. there are meds for damaged nerves that would help. if you have type 2 diabetes you need to take chromium picolinate for it. will be better then. they have meds to effect the immune system maybe they could get the immune system to stop attacking your body. you able to get food stamps???? 🦃

@trackboy Clubbing was my gateway. Before I danced I was hustling. I had heard of people making decent money dancing at the local gay bars and I gave it a try. I was a twink then. Never was a muscle guy.

and a brace to take the weight off it if you are getting arthritis on it
An Xray never showed all the damage to my knees ,,so finally they started telling me like they had about my back that it was all in my head
Well a full body MRI showed different ,,since 1976 I complained about my knees
It was not until 2013 they did an MRI because my knee was blown up ,,it was huge ,,then they took it seriously ,but all those years and an Xray was all they would do
I plan on hammering on them after January ,,now they are going to pay me some back pay ,,and add to my records ,it was not in my head
My new doctor added a few choice words to my VA files
They won't be calling me a crazy drug seeker anymore I bet you that
