I have a question for God how do I go about asking it. I used to pray everyday since I was a child, but stopped in my late teens cause o was done with that.

Anyway I forgot how to pray, just need to remember for tonight only . Not going to return to silly religious me
Ps I would love to not believe I'm God but afraid that's not going anywhere so. Any ideas ?
I'll tell you if I got my answer .

Praying can be pure and simple and very beautiful. Get down on your knees (pillow) and open your heart up to God. Just tell him out loud in a quiet voice how sorry you are not to have spoken to Him in so long. You might feel a rush of pain and love and peace after that.

If you are really feeling something, THAT is when you should pray.

You don't have to be super formal but be very, very respectful, and whatever you want to ask Him for, begin by saying, "Dear Heavenly Father" or whatever term of respectful endearment you wish. Then just ask. It doesn't have to be formal after that, but always remember to thank Him, whether he decides to answer your prayer or not.

I think the best prayers are just like talking. They are very honest.

From listening to others pray there is no set rule. No formula to follow other than speaking his name to begin with. Talk to him as if you are talking to a friend.
Take as long as you like, thank "God" for listening
