Are you in a lot of debt?

SW-User
Yes 馃槬

I make it through, though. I also remember listening to a radio program a couple years ago which says the average consumer debt in Canada was about $34,000 in that time. I imagine it's gone up slightly while mine has never reached there and is slowly decreasing.
SW-User
@Gusman Which to me only speaks something is lacking right now in what people are looking for.
Gusman61-69, M
@SW-User I believe people do not know what they are looking for. But they do not want to look like a "Loser" with nothing lest they be left without any "fake friends". Peer pressure destroys many people.
SW-User
@Gusman Maybe. I don't ask for much, honestly yet I have debt. (bad decision making) I do know though when I'm unhappy I'm more inclined to make an impulse purchase which might speak volumes.

Quite a bit. But a few lifestyle changes could erase it within a half a year.
OllyCat1231-35, F
Do you plan on making those lifestyle changes? @ButchersGeneral
ButchersGeneral36-40, M
@OllyCat12 Yeah, eventually.
Pretty much free of CC debt for the past 5 years. Will be completely debt free (everything) in 18 months.

Business is totally debt free.
SW-User
Only up until the ex-wife and I filed for bankruptcy because of her. 馃し馃徎
SW-User
@SW-User sucks
SW-User
@SW-User it was also my fault 馃槀
SW-User
@SW-User That sucks. It will take time I'm sure but you may be in a better position in the future from making that decision.
TheProphetM
No debt at all. I pay cash for everything.
OllyCat1231-35, F

OllyCat1231-35, F
Not a bad idea. I wonder if I could hand YOU over to my debt collectors and have the same fix 馃槤@BeefySenpie

student loans
Aidan26-30
Yes 馃槩
Yes. Student loans will do that to you.
SW-User
@Callmewhatyouwill Good, even if I imagine you accumulated this debt years ago looking at your age?
@SW-User yup years ago. Finished college in 2008
SW-User
@Callmewhatyouwill It should start to pay itself off quicker as it matures as the interest will be less but I'm sure that doesn't remove the stress. Did you enjoy your studies, and have they helped you as you hoped?
CoppercoilM
not according to the national average but according to me.. yeah.
SW-User
I owe $40,000 in student loans...not even joking.
Dolimyte41-45, M
