No not at all, plenty of good Reggae bands/artists have come out of the UK and we are in Europe (well for now at least). I'm a middle aged, white, middle class male and i love reggae, i do not believe music should have boundaries around who should like it.

@Random1Thoughts Lol most of their hits were covers of old reggae songs but with a touch of pop added. They were originally slated for watering down reggae but are now accepted for opening up reggae music to a much wider audience.

I used to.like it when I was younger but I find being a huge fan of reggae odd regardless of ethnicity. It litterally all.does in fact sound the same and gets boring quick.

I like chilling out to reggae. My family always give me this strange look when I play it. None of the people in my surrounding listen to reggae, I'm an oddball in my community. @MethDozer

I don't dislike reggae, I just get annoyed by it after awhile if it isn't broken up because it is all the same. It is just not creative enough or really celebrates uniqueness of artists. Ska and 2 tone got that way for me too. Toots and the Maytals is still my favorite reggae band though.
