What goes beyond your tolerance?

Global Society (if there is such a concept) is based on tolerance. I disagree with what you say, but I acknowledge your right to say it. Needless to say, this statement must work both ways.

So, how tolerant are you of others' minds and habits?

I don't agree with this "all-inclusive" mindset our society has developed. You don't have to like, agree with, believe in, accept, embrace, or associate with everything you don't feel comfortable with. And not everybody can fit in to every single group either. Sure it's not fun and it can be disappointing and even hurt when we don't...but that's just part of life. When that happens we just need to keep searching until we find a place to fit in and belong, or create one ourselves. Tolerance can't be forced and legislated, and when we try to do that we strip away individuality. I'm not promoting hatred and destructive intolerance at all...we have to live in and share this world with all people regardless of our many differences, but to ignore theses facts only means that someone somewhere (group or individual) is getting suppressed and repressed. I am more for "live and let live", it works much better.
Stupidity goes beyond my tolerance.
