Why does coffee taste like earwax ?

I've never tasted a coffee which isn't toe-curlingly bitter. Any drink I have to add 5 or 6 spoons of sugar to make it barely palatable isn't worth drinking. Plus I don't add sugar to anything and I don't want to start now.

I don’t know what you are talking about! I don’t drink coffee (I don’t want to become dependent on a drink) but even when i drink it black it’s not that bad.

Must be the brand of coffee you drink. That or you don't add any cream or sugar.

I want to know how you know what earwax tastes like !
