Probably because they're full of as much crap as other things from the freezer cabinet. Home-made ones aren't difficult to cook and are usually much tastier.

Not enough fat content to make them juicy.Grill them in a little bacon fat umm.

Mine aren't..I fry them in coconut oil, and top with cheese!
