America is broke !
Trump can't get a dime out of Congress for anything the Republicans hold dear ! So they can hardly keep asking traditional wealthy Republicans to finance the economic recovery !

The money market people have stalled thanks to a very nervous E:U.
The Wall Street people hyper-inflated the value of their stock and as you saw last week, that bubble burst !
The Chinese are laughing in that they have surplus and can choose where they go and who they do business with !
Russia continues it's isolationist stance and is pretty much self-sufficient.

So Trump is kinda stuck as to where he can go and what he can do to get money to his traditional base.

Ordinarily you'd cut base rates and and give the wealthiest a healthy tax break, which is what his 'Tax plan' was all about.
But the problem is the ONE THING he flatly refuses to do !
Namely to challenge employers who have taken so many tax breaks and pocketed the money rather than USE it to create jobs which is what it was intended for !

So the only other way to create money and re-vitalize a flagging economy is to go to war !
It's an age old tactic going back a long time !
A week into office and he started all the anti-North Korean stuff !
Two weeks into office and he started all the Anti-China stuff !
Neither country fell for all his baiting !

So he's truly screwed !
If he can create conflict somewhere, he can mobilize parts of the economy.
Uniforms/Vehicles/Personnel/food supplies/Gasoline lines/Weaponry/Computer systems/and all the support staff needed to support such an operation !

True, it adds to the deficit initially ! unless he can take something over that proves profitable !
But there are lots of guys and gals working RnD that are coming up with things useful in a conflict environment that might have civillian application....if they can sell it !
