Why do people say that getting a date/bf/gf is so easy when it actuality it isn't?

It's not easy for men. I dunno who ever says it is. But if you pound the pavement, you will find someone. Get used to rejection, and eventually you'll get a yes/and/or will have the date go well. You basically can't fuck up once, but it's all about putting the effort out there.

And definitely don't listen to any of the "equality" bullshit. Women have all the power in that area, so it's all about finding out what they want and trying to give it to them.

Trial and error, research, and you will succeed. Babe Ruth, Michael Jordan. Most misses out of anybody, but they're considered the greats, because when they failed, they tried again and again and again.

The older I get the more picky I get. I agree that it is hard because I think most people that live close are on social sites or married.

@Mondayschild Yeah it seems like the older I get the harder it is. Most people my age are married with families by now or in some sort of relationship.

@NunIover I just think it would be nice to look forward to seeing someone you care about after a bad day at work. Go and do fun things together. Someone to share your thoughts and feelings with, just to feel not so empty all the time.
