A lot could be said, but it's rather complex and there's no easy solution. It does furthermore involve countries outside of Europe. No doubt that the extremists working from inside Europe has to be isolated to prevent the continuous converting of younger frustrated Muslims into extremists with hate for the countries that have given them a place to live.
The issues inside Europe are more than just the Muslim extremists. Like in the US we are also dealing with right-wing extremists as stated by @SW-User. She's furthermore correct about Europe not being one nation. Not even every European country is within the EU, and political systems are very different from each other.
It's not a black and white issue, and even less solution.

If you can't recognize this without examples it's either 1) you're looking for examples you can shoot down, or 2) blindness towards how among others, Trump is using rhetoric that helps the further recruitment of more Muslim extremists in the world. On top of this will be the financial interests that seems to be dictating more than real threats.
