I Am Exhausted
I got very little sleep because I had to get my mom's chihuahua to the emergency vet. Ridiculous that they weren't going to take her to one considering she'd been hit by a bus. They don't like the cost of having her checked out...
My older sister's friend had called me (she was too busy freaking out and arguing with our mom about going to the vet) to ask if I could do something about it. $500 later, the dog is fine. It's just soft tissue damage. Crazy since she's so small and that was a freaking bus.
I got a couple hours of sleep. The dog is high and back with her ridiculous family. I hope they all learn to keep an eye out for her, but I doubt they will even after that...I should have kept her, but after vet fees, I wouldn't have enough to pay to keep a dog in my apartment. To be fair (because I always have to be fair about my mom) she wouldn't go to the emergency room if SHE were the one hit by a bus. I don't exactly understand her. I try but I don't. It's been the cause of many arguments between us. I'm over it. I'll let my older sister go at it. She doesn't seem to get how this all works: you don't get anywhere arguing or making any sense when it comes to our parents. They don't care. Whatever. At least the dog is okay. I won't bother asking for the money back.
