I Love My Husband
He is a dear-heart! ❤️ He called his old neighbor/buddy to see how he was doing. He found out things are not good at all. His buddy said... They tell me I am losing it. So, my husband arranged to drive 6 hrs to visit him so they could catch-up. He left before dawn's light today.
My husband is a VERY strong man, disciplined, and has a firm grip on his emotions. He never complains or want much...lol… but for/from me 🥰 No problem!
But for anyone to check up on him... well... I guess they all see him for being the giver, strong and full of energy...a special soul. They have no idea!!!!!!
He was born with a .. missing flipper on one of his heart values. The doctor told him he is beating all the odds. That most people with this problem needs a heart value replacement in their 40-50s. He is 71.
BUT... lately, his blood pressure is so low he feels exhausted. His heart rate is staying too low too. So... he goes to see the heart doctor here in a couple of weeks for his bi-yearly check up.
I was picking up around the house and found notes my husband had written on heart value replacements. He had a few question marks on this paper.
I know him...
The doctor said that my husband would tell him when he felt it was time to do the procedure.
He is ready! 😟 He has not spoken a word of this. He holds this inside him tightly. I have been catching him using my blood pressure machine, taking his blood pressure.. I sneak back and look to see the results. 😞
My prayers, my love, my devotion for him...my caring is so deep, it forces tears to my eyes. He doesn't want to worry me... nor do I him.
I know he will be just fine. We will. My faith is stronger than my fear!!!!
