I Love to Run

Have you ever tried to make any changes to your form? I dabbled in the barefoot thing for a bit but now I'm reading "Your Best Stride" and I realize I have been running wrong. Our hip flexors get tight from modern life (desk, driving, TV) so we can't get our legs behind us far enough to use our God-given glutes. I'm stretching as I type this.

yes I love to run also. I am not sure I follow what you are saying above. I run on a treadmill. I have run a 5K 15:34 which is 103% of world record age adjusted and the record holder runs barefoot. So I am interested in that. I have not run outdoors since 1997 when I got post viral fatigue.
I will check out Your best Stride - sound so interesting.

@sogdianrock The book explains it very well. I heard the Author - Jonathan Beverly of Runners World and Running Times - on a podcast and I really like his approach.
