A Living Cell Under An Electron Microscope [Spirituality & Religion]

Don't tell me that Yahweh doesn't live. If one of those codes becomes out of order, the cell will die. Each of the codes in DNA and RNA are distinct which makes cats look and act like cats, dogs who look like dogs and act like dogs, horses become horses, and cows become cows, etc, etc, etc.

Translation: I understand biology because of Jesus.
@GodSpeed63 I'm glad you think your invisible friend taught you about science. But you still haven't proven he even exists.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@LordShadowfire You don't understand irreducible complexity therefore your great grandpappy was a chunk of granite.
@hippyjoe1955 Prove that anything is irreducibly complex. I'll wait.

@LordShadowfire You wouldn't understand it to begin with. Too Funny. I might as well be trying to explain calculus to a tom cat. Here is just one small clue. If you took the simplest life form known to man and tried to figure out the odds of it forming spontaneously it is in the realm of 1 E42,000. The number of atoms in the known universe is estimated to be 1 E90. The number of seconds since the big bang is 1 E17. Math is hard for atheists. Too Funny!
@hippyjoe1955 So what I'm hearing is you think I'm a moron, and also that I'm an atheist.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@LordShadowfire What I am saying is you have no concept of how complex and irreducible even the most simple life form is. It is simple impossible for it to have arisen spontaneously.
@hippyjoe1955 The complexity of science was somehow man made. God made science, God made Math. God made the simplest life form, God made the atom. That sure simplified things for me, Thanks.

He's already done that. It's up to you to prove otherwise.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@LordShadowfire
How?
We've been through this before.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Pitchblue Again you show that you remain clueless. Here is a small hint for you. Impossible is determined at 1 E72. Yet you somehow thing that 1 E42,000 is possible. Maybe you need to take a course in statistics.

Oh, gosh, I didn't know you had a degree in biology.
@GodSpeed63
We've been through this before.
And yet here you are making the same unproven claims.

@LordShadowfire He try to appear knowledgabele but, in reality, he hasn't doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. He doesn't even understand that no matter how improbably an event is, it can occur on the first attempt.

As an example, consider a simple die. The probability of throwing a 6 is, of course, 1 in 6. That's the same as the probability of throwing any number between 1 and 6 inclusive. Obviously, if a probability of 1 in 6 meant it would take 6 attempts before the event occurred, then the first 5 throws would show no number at all. That simple logic is way beyond Dippyjoe's comprehension.

@Sharon Hi Sharon. Is Hippyjoe😀 amusing everyone again? That coward accepted defeat months ago, blocked me, and went off sulking.

Ask him what he means by ‘life form’ (hilarious creationist weasel word), and then tell him that if there’s no way for even a simple ‘life form’ to arise then look at one that’s ever so slightly simpler. Keep doing that and he’ll eventually arrive at one that’s inevitable... with a pathway along to the more complex one

Then again, you might have better things to waste your time on
reflectingmonkey · 51-55, M
@newjaninev2 I can't see his posts so I imagine I was blocked also, my arguments objections to Christian theology must have left him with no other choice but to block me. the problem with these people goes even deeper because they think that if they can find one thing that seems to point towards intelligent design than "voila" they just proved the bible, Jesus and the whole thing while in reality, even if there was something that could only be explained by intelligent design it would in no way prove that the god of the bible did this. such s discovery would in no way make all the nonsense disappear, like the whole "god loved us so much he gave us his only son to save us from our sins" and " Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins" which literally makes no sense at all.
Sharon · F
@newjaninev2 Yes, he's busy making a fool of himself, claiming everyone and everything else is "too funny". A total waste of spacetime.
Sharon · F
@reflectingmonkey They usually try using childish insults to try to convert others to their beliefs. They don't seem to understand that such tactics only alienate others further.
reflectingmonkey · 51-55, M
@Sharon yes, insults is when they have lost and don't realize it yet. its very simple, if someone has a solid argument to put on the table they will always favor that over insults, when someone resorts to insults its because they have nothing better to throw at their opponent, basically means they have run out of intelligent arguments.
