My mom just told me I need to choose between church and my family [Spirituality & Religion]

@antisocialbutterfly Why would you thank someone who puts church down, saying it’s full of it? And yeh. The heart was just added. Doesn’t make it any better.

@antisocialbutterfly Oh, I see. Well honey. People can give you a lot of well-meaning advice, but they don’t have to live there, either. You can compromise....Not your faith or beliefs, but circumstances, since you probably have no means to make crucial life decisions and changes right now. Since you live under their roof and they are paying the bills, you are pretty much under their rules for the house. The Bible says honor your father and mother. There was no if or conditions mentioned. That does not mean Christ is not first in your life. He knows your heart, exactly. He knows full well you love Him. It just means you’re going to use the common sense the Lord gave you, until you can arrange better living conditions, without jeopardizing your welfare. You can still worship God in your own room, and watch church on tv, but in the meantime, talk this over with God. He already knows your circumstances, and wants to help, but talk things over with Him for the best advice. The best advice doesn’t come from man. It comes from God’s Word. Allow Him to speak to your heart through that, and through prayer, lead and guide you by His Spirit. The last thing you want to do, is get ahead of God. Pray about this, then let Him do His work. You’ll need to be patience. He that handles the matter wisely, shall find good out of it. Allow GOD to do His work. Allow Him to open or close doors for you. Allow Him to work on people’s hearts, on your behalf. Do not quarrel or be at odds with anyone. God works good for those who love Him and live according to His Word. Trust and rest in Him....not guessing, but [b]knowing[/b] He will do His work. He will. He [b]wants[/b] to give you the desires of your heart. That’s a promise of His. Don’t worry. Just wait on the Lord. He’ll get it right, where if you try to help Him, you’ll just interfere in His plan for your life. He knows way better than we do, and He’s far more intelligent and wise, so He’ll get it right, don’t worry. He doesn’t need our help. Just our faith in Him. He’s perfectly capable by Himself. Don’t make the mistake of trusting what you see, if it looks bad. People sometimes harden their heart and get meaner or more stubborn, when God is dealing with their heart. We walk by faith, not sight. The devil will tell you, “It’s going all wrong....just look!” Don’t believe his lies. Just keep the faith, and things will work out. God is working on a spiritual level in the background. Never stop believing and praying. That’s your best hope...and outcome. God bless you.

@antisocialbutterfly I like the amplified when speaking to someone who won't take the time to look verses up and understand what they really mean ,but in this instance I am going to share it with you ,,satan is attacking the family
He can't create life ,but he is good at destroying them ,,,if the Holy spirit is in you ,you will get it ,,if not ask Him to show you ,help you overcome this trial ,,and if you the wisdom to know what to do ,ask for that too ,and believe He is an enabler of those that love Him

I am not arguing with the unlearned about their depression and anxieties ,if they want to stay in bondage ,thats their choice ,,I am speaking to a child of God

Our Dad is a King ,,and He makes rulers out of slaves ,when a nation rises up against Him ,He removes His protection ,,but His are still in His hand and He is not loosing any of them ,,,even in death ,they are still His

We are many members of one Body ,,we are the church ,those who allow the Holy Spirit to dwell in us ,See all the ones saying its crap ,they hate God
Its because of all the wolves in sheeps clothing ,and the babes in Christ who prefer to be that way ,,He told us to take on His Armor ,and give our heavy burdens to Him ,

We are not to be playing church ,we are to be sharing the gospel to a lost and dying world ,,who no longer fear God ,nor do they know the love and mercy He has for them ,,but they refuse
We are to be the examples ,,and if God is in you ,no one can drive Him out but you ,and if He is for you ,,God help anyone who offends you

He said ,"Touch not my anointed and do my prophets no hard "
If you offend the least of these ,MY CHILDREN ,
Its best you tie a millstone around your neck and cast yourself in the ocean
For it will be better for Sodom and Gomorrah on that day ,then for them

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might ,,
He knows the intentions of you heart ,,deny Him before men ,He will deny you before the Father
Pray to Him ,not men ,He will be your guide ,He will order your foot steps
