Consider something else - what if they are lying about being 14 and it really is some 30-something trying to entrap? If that is the case, you are probably safe if you cut contact right away.

It is probably really some 50 year old con man from Nigeria who cannot remember what he lied about to whom anyways.

Did you share any "adult" photos or exchange any X rated text? If not, I say not to worry.

Even if you did -
In the unlikely case that the cops were to show up at your house asking questions, your response needs to be- "I need an attorney present before answering questions." Talking to cops about one's case will not help.
