I Dont Like the Police

I want an end to policing. A quarter to a half of ALL people being killed by cops...are in a mental health crisis. Wanna know more?

Well I predict NO. And everyone knows there are other terrible (and real) reasons the police are causing so much harm.

I wonder how much the police and policing would change if they didn’t carry handguns.

@SW-User That only works in places that aren't saturated with guns, like the UK. Otherwise, they'd just be lambs to the slaughter.

@SW-User are they though? How effective are those officers in places with lots of guns. Those are the places that wait 90 minutes for police to show up anyway.

@SW-User Well, having to wait 90 minutes is a different and unrelated problem. They wouldn't arrive any more quickly if they were unarmed.

If I were an American cop, I'd be really really jumpy every time I had to pull someone over, because every second car has a handgun in the glove box.

Policemen without guns would be workers who loved their work, so they would ALSO COME ON TIME.

@SW-User if someone is really going to pull that gun and shoot the cop, the cop is already dead (if they have a firearm or not).

Anyone pulling a gun and shooting the officer in cold blood is a psychopath.

I’m not saying they need to be devoid of firearms. I think handguns should not be worn at all times.

@SW-User The USA should have a gun free month this year and a gun free season next year and a gun free forever the third year and ever more. I might be the only person left in the USA who knows guns are about death and obliteration not good against evil. That stuff comes from INSIDE. Can't be enforced.

How can people grow up not knowing that implicitly?

Don't have to be a saint to understand. so WTF?
