I Dont Like the Police

I want an end to policing. A quarter to a half of ALL people being killed by cops...are in a mental health crisis. Wanna know more?

Well I predict NO. And everyone knows there are other terrible (and real) reasons the police are causing so much harm.

@Platoscave yes I have, I suffer with my own mental health and there is not enough support to go round, hence the need for more funding.

Reducing the policing is treating a symptom because it will not stop the danger those with mental health issues pose to themselves and others..this is treating the cause

If that is done, less police would be needed.

MENTAL HEALTH CRISES Are caused by injustice and there is none of that "justice" nonsense discussed at government and privately funded "mental health" facilities.

Corporate lying mostly goes under the radar, it relies on our ignorance and fear.

Besides the police are ignorant violent and evil because the recruiters LIKE it that way.

@Platoscave Increased funding for mental health care does not inherently involve building more psych wards. There are things like better and more available housing, more disability money, funding for therapists and psychologists and not just psychiatrists, public funding for meds, quite a bit actually.

And they're not "happy pills," if you've taken them you know that. MDMA is the happy drug and they don't give it out.

You can't eliminate all policing, but you can reform the fuck out of it and keep them on a [i]very [/i]short chain by means of constant surveillance, outlawing police unions, implementing severe penalties for misconduct, changing the workplace culture and taking away their paramilitary toys.
