Have you ever been to a "no-go zone"?

Not really. There was such a zone in a town where I lived, but it turns out it was nothing. A bunch of middle-eastern people living in the same neighborhood was all it was. I knew a guy there who helped me fix my car a few times in exchange for tins of coffee. He could have taken cash, but he preferred to be given coffee. idk why, but he was nice enough and I never had any problems.
