Bud. I find it genuinely amazing that you seem to sincerely believe that Trump is a man for the people.
He's not and he never was. He's for Trump. Just look at his political history:
He was a Democrat but in order to get power he happily called himself a republican and now that he's shit in that bed he's going to make another party?
Are these the actions of a man out to represent the people or a man trying to cling to power and attention wherever he can get it?

It baffles me that people ever thought that this super wealthy, sociopathic grifter ever the interest of the "common man" at heart.

Trump HAS been impeached, with the support of 10 republicans. He probably won’t be convicted by the senate, but I am guessing censure or something could be worked out.
Accept it, trump lost and democracy is still alive despite his best efforts.

I find it hard to believe. A man would need to be really, REALLY stupid to go out of his way to p*$$ off the Republican party at this point, by threatening to start a new party. It makes sense to play nice until after that vote. In addition to forcing more republicans to defect to give the party solidarity, he is actually annoying some rich Republicans enough to cause them to drop their $200,000 membership to his Florida club.. 😷
