that Facebook employs SIX Chinese foreign nationals in a department called Hate Speech Engineering. Their focus appears to be, mainly, any speech or story that involves China in a negative way.
These Chinese nationals develop algorithms that monitor what will and will not be censored on an American social media website. They are located in Seattle, Washington, and, after learning censoring algorithms here, will probably go home to try to crush their own people even further.
Their particular area of strength in Hate Speech engineering is what they call Borderline Hate Speech, or anything that is really all right but the algorithm catches it. They get bonuses for that.
