Donald Trump endorses Boris Johnson in UK election.

He also backs Farage and criticises Jeremy Corbyn. As a Labour supporter, I want to say a big thank you to the Donald for letting the cat out of the bag.

Trump also denies that the NHS 'outsourcing' to American pharmaceutical firms will be part of any post-Brexit trade deal, having previously declined to rule it out and saying 'everything is on the table'. However, apparently this is no longer the case but America and Britain could do 'four or five times' the trade numbers if America does a trade deal with Britain. If anybody believes that this would be good for the British people, I wish you the best of luck.

Tarifs are negligible between the two countries so any trade deal would necessarily involve the sale of assets or opening aspects of the British public sector to foreign trade.

The thought of Donald Trump getting anywhere near our health service should fill every Brit with dread.
@Discotheque Indeed. He’s the reason people are dying here.
@bijouxbroussard I’m sorry for you with your health system. I know we’re very lucky to have our NHS and very grateful for it.

Irrespective of which party or politician you support, the campaign is none of Trump's business.

Any more than his own election was the business of President Putin.

As the president of a foreign country with trade, military and other links with the UK, clearly he needs to observe what happens; but he should NOT be chiming in for or against any party, politician or manifesto here.

@ArishMell I agree putin was putin playing games in politics making sure that idiot came too the fore trump he should be more concerned on the forth coming impeachment inquiry he is facing you are right he has interest who wins the election here for military and trade purposes but not openly endorse one party which he has done

His total inability to keep his mouth shut could turn out to be Labour's best hope of defeating Johnson.

Keep up the good work Donald.

@RodionRomanovitch lets hope so

Again the maverick Donald tears up the accepted rule book ie a leader never makes a comment on an election in an ally country especially since the result may not go that way and then they've got to deal with the new incumbent.

However his interference may boost the opponents rather than those he's endorsed.

Tiresome. You bastards are just tiresome.

@xixgun This directly affects UK politics. I would like to see Trump make good on his promise of isolationism.
