@BlueVeins Not all conservatives are in lockstep. I am the most right wing person I know, not only would I like to see Marijuana decriminalized, I would like to see all drugs decriminalized. If I want to smoke opium, I should be able to go down to the pharmacy and pick it up. I am 53 and have never used an illegal substance but the reality of it is, there is no way to stop it and zero tolerance doesn't work for anything. Drugs being illegal associates a risk and that makes it worth money. If we decriminalized dope, we would lose half of the crime in inner cities. If it wasn't for dope and gangs, places like Chicago would be much different. I think the same thing about prostitution, prostitution being illegal creates the market for human trafficking.
Sad but true, as a privileged white male, there is no way I can understand poor or LGBT or minorities plight and if I open my mouth to discuss anything about it, I am deemed a racist. It doesn't matter that as I grew up, if we didn't hunt sometimes there wasn't meat on the table, it doesn't matter that I worked for 30 years to get where I am without a college degree. It doesn't matter that no one ever gave me anything. My opinion is invalid because I am white, but I am the racist one.
Infestations are associated with vermin. Trump uses the word when talking about shithole (black) countries and majority african-american neighbourhoods.
You want to pretend that isn't racist then go ahead. You are no better than him.
@jackjjackson I did an experiment a few days ago. I have hypertension, so I took my blood pressure after playing "Bejewelled" and listening to music. 135 over 74. Then I took my blood pressure after drinking coffee and arguing politics on SW. 178 over 108. True story!
Saying "go back to your crime-infested country" is xenophobic because of every word except "crime-infested." Pelosi confused xenophobia with racism, a common mistake. You missed the point quite spectacularly. Nicely done. Now go back to not letting the goats cross the bridge.
@MrBlueGuy That's the other social anomaly that needs to be pointed out. It is the progs who automatically associate "the criminal underclass" with minorities. That is why the grievance industry think-tanks have decided "thug" is a 'racist' term now.
@puck61 Thugs and criminals come in all colours, I don't think it's right to associate it with race... that in itself is racist. If we say paedophiles are a scourge, and it could be proven most paedophiles were white, I don't think anyone would say, OH so you're saying ALL white people are a scourge.
@MrBlueGuy Well when a small cross section of 13 percent of the population manages to commit 51% of the violent crimes, people have a tendency to "profile". It's human nature. Europeans like to do mass shootings, but we are being left in the dust in the 'senseless killing' department these days, unless of course it is sanctioned by politicians!
When you are a crook, you have to fling insults at everyone hoping they will be so afraid of the insult they won't notice you've stolen 15 billion dollars.
@SW-User You mean like the mayor of Baltimore used it in 2015 when referring to the rat infestation? Or when Obama called the rioting looters, Thugs in the riots?
SW-User
@JT123 Like, if a person says, this town is becoming infested with [insert name of race] that's obviously what I am referring to. Did I really just have to explain that?
Any time a person of lighter skin tone criticizes or disagrees with a person of darker skin tone, the person with the lighter skin tone is a racist. This is the new SOP. Didn't you get the memo?
A good way to never go wrong is simply to remember that 'if you are white, you are racist'.
I work for an international company that has interns from all over the world, as much as people from other countries like to bash the US, all of the interns from Germany, Norway, France, Spain, and all the other countries, usually do everything they can to extend their terms to remain here.
