Did people really vote for Trump or did they just vote against Hillary?

Voted against Hillary.

thank God they did. it would be a nightmare if she got in.

I really disliked both of them...at first. There was so much anti-Trump hype and it started to get so ridiculous that I decided to suck it up and actually listen to them both, at their rallies so that I could make up my own mind.

I think there are a lot of people like me, who, when flooded with vicious commentary and vile rhetoric and obvious lies, will do their own research.

I listened to Trump, at one of his rallies and the things he was saying appealed to me on such a deep level I started to become emotional...especially when he said he was going to drain the swamp in Washington. I began to feel something I hadn't felt in a long time...hope for my country.

Then, after I decided I really loved Trump's plans for our country, I listened to Hillary, and was told I was now in a basket of deplorables.

I am saving that bumper sticker as a souvenir.

I voted for him. Why not?

There are multiple answers to this, because I think some voted for him and would have regardless of who the Democrats ran. I also think some voted against her and would have voted for the Republican regardless of who they ran.

I couldn't vote for Hillary. A thousand times better than Trump, but a horrible person and still married to a scumbag. I voted Green, Jean Stein. I hope I don't have to vote for Crazy Joe Biden, but if he's the candidate, I will.

Either people voted for trump or didn’t vote at all, because they didn’t like either candidates. Surely there were others that voted for Hilary.

Initially, I voted against the devil but next year I'll be voting for Trump. Anyone who causes the left to go insane is doing something right.

They decided a racist misogynist was a better bet than Hillary. They saw unproven gossip against a woman as more credible than a man’s own admitted beliefs and behavior. I’ll never forgive my countrymen for that, either.

Many, many people did, yes. He won't have that advantage this time.

Some actual people voted for him, some against her, and then others had their votes changed.
