@Xuan12 When more than 70% of blacks, Asians or Hispanics vote for one party, and the other one gets a majority of white votes, society is racially divided to a point of no return. In a country where owning a gun is not uncommon, the outcome can only be one. Unless there is agreement to peacefully divide the country.

@Cierzo Along racial lines? Not possible. Neither along party lines, since urban centers and rural districts are the most distinct divisions. And what else? By sex? Since women are markedly more supportive of the Democratic party than men are (and even men are split nearly evenly)? But oh! What about age? With younger voters markedly swaying blue? And education? With more educated and less educated voters showing notable preferences?
