Anyone remember that video of the police pepper spraying a line of protesters who had already been arrested and were sitting on the ground in a line?

And the cop is walking up and down the line repeatedly dousing them with pepper spray? There are STILL people trying to defend those officers and saying they were "standing up for America."

They were, just not your America. Or the America of most people.

It's very frustrating. Obviously any orderly society needs law enforcement officers, but like any other government worker, they have to be held accountable for their actions. But some people act like the police should be above criticism, like they can't possibly do anything wrong.

Those coppers were cunts for doing that. Cops all over the world abuse their power in some ways even just things they say rather than do. I learned that at a very young age.
They're just thugs in uniform. They give a bad name to good fair minded cops.

I feel that the officers that perpetrated that themselves should be executed as traitors to the United States of America's people, and the ones that stood by and allowed it should be fired and not allowed to hold any office of importance again.

@BlueMetalChick I was actually basing that on the constitution, not personal feelings or emotions.

They have taken office to protect the citizens and have terrorized them instead, that constitutes becoming destructive to the people. They are to be considered traitors, they are to be executed.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@th3r0n Wow, that's pretty harsh, but you're right, it is corroborated by constitutional law.
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@BlueMetalChick isn't it harsh to use pepper spray on people that are being detained? That constitutes torturing prisoners, US citizens at that.

@SW-User Are you kidding? They'd love nothing more than a citywide civil war. I mean, come on, this is the police department that busted into people's houses and hotel rooms to beat the shit out of them for no reason during the 1968 Democratic Convention.

@BlueMetalChick So if those kids had been armed and had shot back at the cops, would that have been a "second amendment solution" to tyranny?
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Lila15 Lol in a weird roundabout way, it kinda would have been.
