To do it now is to seek fame and a winning lottery ticket.

but regardless of how horrible it is, it can't be punished if not reported - shortly after it happens. it isn't that she is less believable because she waited 30 years - it is because finding any proof or corroboration dwindles with time.

and here's the worst part - the desire to punish someone dwindles with time too.

"hey it was 30 years ago, he's been a good guy since then - let's just look at the good he's done since then"

instead of
"we have to punsish the bast*** and lock his disgusting butt up in jail until he rots"

I know it takes courage. I know it's hard - sadly most of it occurs between people that are known to each other (if I remember the stats correctly)

If Kavanaugh wants to be White House counsel instead of Supreme Court justice, I'm fine with that. On the Supreme Court, he will have a prime opportunity to really fuck things up for a lot of people.

If the Democrats take over in 2021, they can pack the court with five liberal justices and neutralize the fascists.

Maybe it should be said if a society has reasonable doubt about a judge they shouldn't be a judge? It's very different from prosecuting a person, sending them to jail for a falsely accused crime their life in this instance is likely above those concerned
