Kavanaugh really shouldn't have criticized the confirmation process ....

It really isn't his place, and is grossly inappropriate for a future SCOTUS to tell the Senate how they should be doing their jobs.

They aren't doing them well, but that's beside the point.

I'd disqualify him for criticism of Senate, and on those grounds alone.

And he shouldn't have asked Sen. Klobuchar how much she drinks, just before a recess.

He later apologized when they came back.

@beckyromero Yeah. But lipping off Senators is one thing. That's unwise, of course.

Telling them, as a member of the judiciary, how they should be doing their jobs is just not on.

After watching much of the hearings unfold and todays testimonies, the guy is a tosser. Plain and simple.

I hope that somebody has the guts and the integrity to have him investigated fully by the FBI and that criminal charges are brought against him.

@WoodyAq It seems that our debate is somewhat moot. Senator Flake has asked for the confirmation vote to be delayed for one week so that the FBI can investigate.

@room101 Hmmm. I wonder if he's covering for Murkowski and Collins? Flake is retiring so he's got less to lose than they do.

@WoodyAq Which makes him dangerous to the trumpette Republicans. And let's not forget why he resigned in the first place.
Graylight · 51-55, F
Yeah, I don't know why I wasn't expecting arrogance and superiority. Maybe I was distracted by all the crying.
WoodyAq · M
@Graylight I would have gone with a wounded yet humble approach, were I him.
