Well it depends on the person. Rich people like him because he's cutting their taxes and making poor people pay it instead. Some poor people like him because they've forgotten they're poor and have bought into the narrative that the only reason they're not billionaires is because other working class people are holding them down. And a great deal of people like him just for his personality. It's no secret that Americans have short attention spans and little ability to choose politicians based on substantive issues. It's all about the emotional reaction they get from a person.
@BlueMetalChick As a small business owner I think Trump's tax plan to reduce taxes on small businesses and remove inheritance tax are both good things. Especially since the rich have ways around the inheritance taxes.

Well if you make less than $75,000 annually, your taxes are going up. And if you don't own an estate worth $11,000,000 then your taxes are also going up. The Trump tax plan moved the bar for the estate tax from five million dollars to eleven million dollars. In other words, taxes on people with estates worth less than eleven million dollars just saw a huge decrease in their taxes. Guess who has to make up the difference? Me and you.
He also slashed the alternative minimum tax, which only applies to very wealthy people who can afford to pay a veritable army of lawyers to find every loophole they can to decrease their taxes. The alternative minimum tax is exactly what it says; it is an second possible minimum for people who have found a way to get below the previously established minimum rate. So now extremely rich people pay far less in taxes because there's no second minimum rate that kicks in. Guess who has to make up the difference? Me and you.
Because they live in reality where critical thinking and logic trump an existence of illusion where leftist fairytales are spun. America's government had been hijacked by the most demonic people over the last thirty years. We now have a president who puts his country first. Let me guess you have no idea what is about to occur regarding the Russia FISA application documents, you are that disconnected from reality.

oh never mind it is a soros bot with 20 views, carry on with your scripted propaganda, nobody who is aware cares anymore.
Why is it that race has to always come into conversations? Why can’t we just like or hate people based on who they are and not their skin color????? There is a reason why racism is still alive...... because people keep it alive! Want to end racism? Quit talking about it!@SW-User

You know, I wonder the same thing. I don't care about Trump's race, but let's be realistic, some people certainly do and that's who they want in the White House. And when it's in a country where racism is still a big issue, people who are prejudice are not afraid to express who they want to control their nation. It's similar to gender, some people didn't want Hillary in the White House all because she is a woman.
You have a point. Thank you. But I get angry because soooo many of us just want to get along. Doesn’t matter skin color, male or female, sexual orientation, yet it keeps coming up and people are sick of it.@SW-User
Does any person of color who isn't wealthy or in denial believe that ? Because someone who isn't a person of color is always willing to remind you racism exists.
@Hikingguy Yes. They were lynched by the KKK. Not ANTIFA. We move past things when they are reconciled. Racism has not been reconciled and probably never will be.
Look up these ANTIFA thugs. They are growing more and more violent. But the whole point you are missing here, is that they are so far left they have fallen off the sanity wagon. Same with the KKK. They represent something so small now it is rediculous to lump all of us into that. Actually shameful of you the imply.@bijouxbroussard
@Hikingguy The KKK marched in Charlottesville last year and murdered someone. Trump claimed there were "fine people on both sides". The hate group and the people fighting racism. Then was when he wanted to show "diplomacy"---towards racists. But he has no problem trashing certain American protesters !
He’s not a politician, he’s not a lib, he’s a highly successful business man, he’s getting his agenda done ... he doesn’t take any crap! 👍🏻

He has a long, illustrious track record that started with his introduction to the world in 1973:
As much as his defenders want to deflect with "what about___? and what about___?", those deflections do not change the core fact that he has a history of shady business practices and character malfunctions. The man was an indefensible miscreant for the decades he was a Democrat, and he is still an indefensible miscreant after his recent convenient conversion to become a Republican. All the money in the world cannot buy class, tact, dignity, and integrity: character traits in which Donald Trump has always suffered a critical deficiency. Why people like him or are drawn to him can probably only be explained by understanding how/why people could be drawn to Jim Jones and that ilk, because that is the kind of intense loyalty he elicits from his followers.
Because over the course of a year I have made a shit ton of money due to his actions. That said I don't agree with all of his choices. Some, but not all.
@QuixoticSoul I wasn't failing under Obama. I just wasn't making as much money, while also having to do far more work. That and the Obama healthcare system was so poorly implemented at the state level where I live that it turned out as predicted. Like shit. Not actually President Obama's fault directly, but the prediction that the healthcare reforms would not go well at the state level was brought up numerous times.
