What is wrong with GOP women?

In their defense of Kavanaugh, they stated "Tell me what boy hasn't done this in high school?"

Well, I didn't. My two brothers didn't. We never would've done that in high school. Or any time since. No decent 17 year old human being would.

These are the same women who voted for Trump after the Access Hollywood tapes.

Many of them have no problems with separating children from their parents and prohibiting abortions in cases of minors being raped.

These are some of the women who've bought into the idea that gun free zones in schools are a bad idea, that Parkland was staged, that Hillary was running a child Prostitution operation out of a Pizza parlor, that Obama was a foreign born Muslim and that Trump had no business connections in Russia, and that they sent him to Washington to drain the swamp and root out the elite globalist conspiracy that keeps their blue collar husband's from benefitting from tax cuts for the ultrawealthy.

Some of these paragons of feminine virtue raise their sons to chant "Blood and Soil" and take their sons to Trump rallies to learn to emulate him.

If they can swallow all this garbage without blinking, why should they suddenly turn away from Fox and start thinking critically because some elite educated libtard with a PHD overreacted to a healthy young male doing what comes naturally?

It seems a whole lot easier to swallow the idea that a youthful indiscretion shouldnt forever tarnish a man than it is to accept all the other BS.

@Harriet03 He is going to appear and answer on Thursday. If I don't have to go buy provable facts then I think it won't do any good when he appears because they have a list of false accusers that they are going to let out one at a time with the only goal being to postpone the hearing till after they hope to get a new congress after the election.

@Johnson212 That's just the first allegation, what about the second?
Johnson212 · 61-69, M
@Harriet03 Same thing, decades old, unproven accusations from Deborah Ramirez who was participating in a drinking game freshman year in college who was on the floor in a foggy drunk when Kavanaugh supposedly exposed himself and she touched his penis while pushing him away. She was reluctant to come forward because she could not remember. But after spending 6 days with her lawyer her memory suddenly became clear after 35 years.

Everyone Ramirez named as being present at the party denies it happened. Kavanaugh calls it “a smear, plain and simple.”

The New Yorker who brought out the story could not confirm Kavanaugh was at the party. Their article says "The New Yorker has not confirmed with other eye witnesses that Kavanaugh was present at the party."

Two male students at the party, a close friend of Ramirez, and three other classmates all say there's no way it happened. Four Yale graduates who are friends with both Kavanaugh and Ramirez said “with confidence” if the episode had ever occurred, they “would have seen or heard about it—and we did not.”
They add that it “would be completely out of character for Brett,” and the first Ramirez said anything about it was when Kavanaugh was nominated for the Supreme Court.

The New Yorker is well aware of the many problems with Ramirez's story.
Once again, this includes the fact it took Ramirez six days to try and cobble together her memory to conclude it was Kavanaugh.
She was consulting a Democratic lawyer during those six days. Ramirez also admits that there are “significant gaps in her memories”.
The New Yorker knows the allegation is very weak, but they ran the article anyway because they don't care. They just want Kavanaugh gone.

Democrats don't care if these stories are true because the accusation is the weapon.

That is what I think of the second accuser.
I asked a GOP friend to tell me why Bill Cosby could be held accountable for what he did 35 years ago but Kananaugh can't be? He said kavanaugh didn't use drugs. I looked at him. how do you even respond to that kind of stupidity? So I said then if you use drugs it's bad...but if you just assault women and know what you're doing--then that is good??? Then he just looked at me. The lack of reasoning power of the cult is stunning.

@anythingoes477 I had a similar conversation with someone. It was so stupid.
SmartKat · 56-60, F
Exactly. Good, decent people *don’t* try to touch a person who has said No. There’s no excuse for it. And 17 is plenty old enough to know better.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
They would think differently if it happened to them or their daughters.
NoFuxGiven · 22-25, F
Why do so many GOP women raise cavemen sons? Seriously? They expect their daughters to be responsible for their own behavior and the behavior of every boy in the room. Meanwhile they’re happy if their sons don’t play with their feces. Raise the bar.
pentacorn · F
well put, @NoFuxGiven

it would be very nice if they could evolve already.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@NoFuxGiven If I’m fortunate to have a daughter one day, I will teach her to say no and I hope and pray that those who have sons will raise them to respect that.

misogynistic females are the most dangerous version of misogyny.
And...another woman has accused Kavanaugh, which was almost predictable, because this sort of thing is rarely a one time “slip”. Stay tuned.
SmartKat · 56-60, F
@bijouxbroussard Guys like him never stop after hassling just one woman. They go on and try it on every woman they meet.
Johnson212 · 61-69, M
@SmartKat If that is the case why has women from high school, college, and his professional years come forward in mass with letters saying he is respectful towards women and the alleged bad behavior is completely out of character for him. Even accuser Ramirez went to his wedding and had her picture taken with him.

@Johnson212 Gaslighting and the “boys will be boys” logic.

No one said that.

And regarding the allegation, I didn't. You didn't, Your two brothers didn't, and quite frankly there is no evidence (real or imagined), that Judge Kavanaugh did either.
@xixgun And left to the GOP there won't be any evidence either. When the foxes are the ones to judge if another fox ate a chicken..I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess they'll never find him guilty if he still had feathers in his mouth.

The statement that the FBI never investigates things like this---is stunningly stupid. I mean what the hell does this GOP controlled congress thinks the "I" stands for in the FBI? Insurance??
In their defense of Kavanaugh, they stated "Tell me what boy hasn't done this in high school?"
It's kind of sad that one anonymous quote from a nobody goes viral like that did. It's just news hype. No one with any morals would take what that person said seriously.

It really wasn't even newsworthy. It was nothing more than 'click bait' by the media.

People see that in a headline and click to see "who the hell said that"?

Then they click the back button because the article doesn't say.

Neverless, be proud of how you and your brothers conducted yourself.
