I am nationalist. You have a problem with that?

Sicarium · 46-50, M Best Comment
The people who have a problem with that have zero understanding of what nationalism is or are straight up open borders types who want zero national sovereignty.

@Sicarium You like being offensive ... last I checked I wasn't towards you. So if you are inclined to take critique with the way of insult I will offer you no help as I won't be bothered to answered your insults of me.
katielass · F
@Sicarium And even those still expect their government to put their needs first.
katielass · F

SimplyTracie · 26-30, F

SimplyTracie · 26-30, F

@puck61 Diversity is our strength is a crock of bull used by liberals to promote a failed policy of flooding this country with illegal aliens. Our strength as a nation is defined by our freedom and our US Constitution. That is what makes this nation strong. Without our freedom we have absolutely nothing. Diversity doesn't make you strong unless you respect each other, people who break the law do no respect anybody. People who come here illegaly and do not wish to assimilate are destroying this country.

You can go so far with liberal catch phrases and Marxist gobbledygook until reality takes over and you eventually turn into a shithole. Bring in enough different people who know nothing about freedom and you eventually turn into a third world country. There is a reason why America is great, its unique culture and that is a culture of freedom with the US Constitution as its foundation. No nations are equal, no cultures are equal, some are better than others and the culture makes the country along with its borders.

Diversity is fine as long as you have immigration with pauses and people who come here who are willing to assimilate, not colonize and demand you change for them. Without culutual cohesion a society breaks down and eventually becomes destroyed. No country is immune from destruction, especially when the younger generation fails to grasp the most important thing they have is their freedom and that this freedom was bought and paid for by previous generations, not by illegal aliens and liberal politicians who preach illusion, confusion and division. Diversity is only a strength to people who are unified and who know the value of freedom, who nurture and care for freedom and who never become naive enough to take freedom for granted.

Guessing many from a different nation that are nationalistic might. World seems to display that outside of heart warming stories where people actually connect in emotion.
4meAndyou · F
I am not in favor of any sort of globalization except perhaps cultural bleed, and as long as you are not jingoistic, I have no problem with nationalism.
Cierzo · M
I have a problem with globalists.
Miram · 31-35, F
I have a problem with extreme nationalism, not nationalism.

The kind of mentality that justifies taking other nations rights , world domination through violence and widens the boundaries.

Lot like religious extremism.

Everything is what we make of it.

@xxxxxx
all kinds of different people are born in all nations.
Irrelevant to nationalism.
A person's nationality doesn't say anything about who they actually are as a person.
You don't speak for everyone. And irrelevant to the question.
What if you had been born in Iran? Would you still be a nationalist?
I'd do everything I can to make Iran someplace I was proud to live. Also, still irrelevant to the merits of nationalism.

Why is nationalism a bad philosophy?

@Sicarium Nationalism isn't a bad philosophy. The left, ever easy to manipulate, are being taught (brainwashed) it's bad but it's only bad for the US to be nationalistic. The rest of the world can be nationalistic and it's ok. What does that tell you. Putting ones own citizens first is not bad. Show me a left wing parent who would give the last bottle of formula to someone else while their baby is crying to be fed. It's the same thing.
purplepen · 51-55, F
If nationalists are like you they're probably ok.
@purplepen Aawww! 🌹
ImpeccablyImperfect · 51-55, F

@ImpeccablyImperfect Partying upside down at ninety miles an hour with my hair on fire works for me
Keraunos · 36-40, M
Not really.
AJKnoz · 31-35, M
Not at all.
katielass · F
No, only evil dictators put others ahead of their own citizens.
