And, of course, he blamed the states while saying he didn't want to continue because of the cost to the taxpayer. Guess the millions it cost to date was justified. I remember reading a couple of months ago that the Government Accountability Office was looking in to the commission because they weren't opening their books. Bet they found something.

Not true. It's the Secretaries of States who receive these requests, and decide how to act on them. Take Washington State for instance, one of the states that decided to ask some questions, before handing out its voters data. The Washington State, Sec. of State, is Republican.

Trump pulls most of his claims, either out of thin air, or conspiracy theory sources. He's getting called on this one by the GAO, so he can no longer justify it, but he can't go down, without another twitter lie, to the faithful. Before long, they will start repeating it here on SW, and elsewhere.
