I will go to my aunt's funeral. I plan to wear black shorts which are not too short, just above the knees. My mom says it is inappropriate to wear shorts at a funeral. What do you think?

I agree with everyone it's no big deal but be the bigger more mature person on this and bow to the pressure of your seniors, you can feel smug about how mature you are (but hide it)
