I Believe In Donations To Whatever Moves Your Heart And Spirit

I just donated to Wikipedia - it’s Friday and they need money. Just $3.10 (2.75 actual) per person makes a difference. I like that there’s no ads, and I’d appreciate if it stays that way.

I prefer to provide shelter to those in the cold ,feed the hungry ,
donate clothing we no longer wear ,even buy new clothes and donate them .
Help young people who are dropping out of school to return to school ,support them until they graduate then try to help them get into college .
But we all give in our own ways .
I work on peoples cars and homes who can't afford repairmen too .

I am slow now days due to my own disabilities ,but I am still able to help people and thats what its all about .

I was a drop out and no one cared ,my family and I (my grown children )know how important educations are so when one of my grandkids has friends who's families don't know ,or don't see they have a child falling behind ,we step in and help any way we can .
We are actually supporting 2 now who dropped out and we got them to go back to school .we house ,feed and cloth them and see they have anything they need
and all we ask in return is they "Try" to hold a decent GPA ,and graduate .
Then we will help them get work ,their own housing or go on to college once they do .thats our way of giving back .

As the commercial used to say "a mind is a terrible thing to waste "
and in doing so ,we show them someone does care .

Maybe one day they will be in a position to help someone else the way someone helped them .we are big advocates of paying it forward .
"Do unto others ,as you would want done for you ".❤️

Wikipedia is a tool we all use and support,
so thank you .❤️

That is SO awesome, because I just gave to Wikipedia also! I gave them $20 because I read their articles constantly. And then I saw something on the news about sending wounded warriors home for Christmas and helping to pay their airfare. Their website didn't work but I was able to donate to Wounded Warriors, and they mentioned Wounded Warriors also benefits them.

I have on-going monthly donations to both the National Forest Foundation and the MSPCA. The National Forest Foundation is actually DOING SOMETHING about global warming by re-planting trees in burned out areas.
