The italian in me!

My great grandfather was from the city of Bari. This Italian connection links me to Italy despite my feeling completely Malti.

I eat spaghetti yes, but there are other foods particular to Italy other than pasta and pizza 🍕.

I have eaten some of those foods, (other than pasta and pizza), while attending a Christmas celebration at a friend's family's home. Artichokes with garlic, served dripping, with garlic and olive oil stuff into the leaves...salad made with codfish...eggplant deep fried and packed into a beautiful layered casserole.

All of it was VERY good...except for the sweet and sour stuffed green peppers...😝
