Can we sustain? [I Ask Questions]

Life as we know it, with the pressures of big business, political correctness, and epistemic changes that cause desolation...Are we strong enough?
I read a paper today regarding an academic research looking into the future of civilisation in the 70s. A group of MIT scientists conducted tests in regards to fertility/ quality of life / pollution/ welfare/mortality/population etc and basically predicted that there would be a societal collapse by 2050. The study was recently revisited again ,since we now have more data to analyse how accurate those predictions have been, and it was found to be very accurate and that such collapse may even occur at the start of 2040. And if I am honest we have been drastically seeing it over the past two years with catastrophic diseases and extreme weather conditions bringing the most devastation, lack of universal healthcare (welfare) adding to those and more , large gaps in wealth amongst population etc .

@PepsiColaP Fear is their best weapon..while they secretly make billions on our fears. The Social Dilemma...check it out..we are still we the people...
@Ladyred you mean the documentary? The term itself is actually greatly used in economics and John Nash's game theory. It's not some great conspiracy and it isnt done alone by a few people,we are all accountable for this . Although yeah most of the power for change comes from people who hold economic and political power as well

@PepsiColaP So this is the great juxtaposition isint it. What they meant for good will always be challenged with the idea of evil. Those who created these algorithms meant it for good. But money is the God of this great American country. To them we are pawns, but no one writes our stories, not really.
We behave as though previous generations had no stress or fears or frustrations. They did, often far more dangerous and legitimate than ours.

Early humankind had immediate fears - animals and enemies, disease, disaster and injury. We fear injections.

For much of history, little to no protection against anything existed. What happened to you happened, and there was no recourse.

Of course there are serious modern problems, but there always have been.

Somehow we have come to believe it is only in the last three centuries or so that bad stuff occurred.

I don’t know about we, but I am. I’ve made it this far, and I’m not done.
