I Am An Empath

I had an exhausting day. The morning court vibes, meeting my ex-husband and mother in law did not help either. And then I had to rush to meet my friend who needs my support in helping her find a job and a lawyer for her to process her own divorce. In the evening, at the playground, I met another friend who was having an argument with her parents because she found her father having an affair and she could not deal with her wheelchair-bound mother who is pleading for her to make peace with her father. I sat there overhearing everything and after her parents left, I had to listen to her side of the story. Everyone has a story and is dealing with their own struggles.

Plus, the Singapore rain isn't making it all better.
