Have you ever had to deal with a sudden depressed and despondant dog?

It's breaking my heart. She has a clean bill of health, but it's like she's dying. I don't know what else to do 😭
How far did they go?

Can be things like diabetes, immune system problems - dogs don't show pain much.
If she's licking herself alot - get her check out more thoroughly - lickking is a way if coping with pain

Does she get walked everyday?
If so try a new route - boredom can kill Anyones spirit.

So hope you find a solution to this 🤗
@Foxyfoxfox REALLY!!!!

Oh- THAT'S SUCH GOOD NEWS!!!

Ok. Theory of this goes if I Remember correctly is...

Yes - walking your dog is exercise but.

Its actually more exercise for their brain. Letting a dog smell all the smells, check things out, amd sort of letting them go at their own pace, is more important than pulling them round tje same route over and over.

Their noses are so sensitive - they've been likened to being able to look back in time...they can tell whose been where from the last couple of days.

I so hope things get better and better!

Amd thankyou for letting me know🤗 - i did think about ypur dog last night - and send hopeful thoughts your way 💜

@BoobooSnafu well you helped us out, so thank you. I'm realizing more and more how important those walks are, for the both of us!!
@Foxyfoxfox it's funny how it's the simple things are way more important than we think 🤷‍♀️

I haven't had to deal with that. I am just so sorry that you're going through this. Just give your pup all the love that you can. 🤗

@Indy74 thank you. I will keep working on it ❤
Every time my schedule changes in a major way. She hates new routines.

What happened to her?
Any life changes that could be affecting her?
@Foxyfoxfox how long has she lived with tje cat?
Foxyfoxfox · 51-55, F
@BoobooSnafu her whole life....9y old.
@Foxyfoxfox ugh... Yeah - that's depression, I'd bet my spoons on it.

Ok... Just had a thought.
Your cats smell will be in your home, and around the area of your neighbourhood - she can likely be being reminded of her continually.

If she lost a companion, take her for a trip to the pet store and see if she perks up around other critters.
🐺🐶 I hope you figure it out quickly.🤗😢
Foxyfoxfox · 51-55, F
@JimminyChristmas yes, I've been considering that. Thank you

I am so sorry. 😟 Maybe she is sick?
Foxyfoxfox · 51-55, F
@SweetMae she's been to the vet twice and had normal blood work and normal ultrasound.

@Foxyfoxfox That is so sad to watch! I hope she feels better soon.
