I Am a Woman and I Lift Weights

I don't do much of running, calisthenics bore me, and lifting is intense. There is never a day I get bored lifting weights and exercising. The goal is to get stronger, eat better, and look great. For 18 months, I went from weighing 104 to 107, waist went from 30 to 25.5, and hips went from 31 to 36. I love improvement. Cardio? Not much, I run here and there.

Right on. And don't forget you are getting some cardio when you're lifting. As long as you're not resting forever between sets your heart rate is cookin'. I will say that 10 minutes or so on an elliptical, stair climber or bike before your workout isn't a bad way to warm up.
Feels good to be in the gym, huh? And it DOES pay off.

I enjoy all three types of exercise but weight-lifting is my favorite. It feels the most challenging and I feel like a beast when I'm finally done >:)

@goagainsttheflow They are all challenging, I believe lifting has a higher intensity since there are many goals you can have.

Good for you. I love women who lift weights, it shows they can take things beyond the limit
