Hmm. Also I think a large proportion of communication is non-verbal which can also add to confusion, misinterpretation and conflict in a relationship. I also think patience is essential, likely to be absent without commitment. My own view is most relationships end due to a basic lack of commitment in the hope there are many other options, which may be better and require "less work".

@Whiterosesociety I think the only thing worth having that doesn't require much work is the air we breathe! That's life, I guess :)
