I Think Good Communication Is Vital To A Good Relationship

I've always had the notion that communication was everything in a relationship. ANY relationship. It was one of the most important things. I recently began talking with a guy. at first the communication was great. I mean we talked about everything for long periods of time. After a new job, I gave him time to adjust and thinking that his sudden lack of communication was because of his hob. He would say he would call me the next day, then that turned into about once a week, and slowly decreased to less than that. I brought it up only to make sure we were on the same page and there was still mutual interest and I wasn't wasting my time waiting on him if he'd want to move on to someone else. Well after my message he called and explained how he was tired from work and usually came home and went to bed. After I suggested quick, simple texts, he admitted that communication was his weakness. That really sucks, because I'd really liked this guy and I know looking in the future, even now, nothing will work without communication.
