Well if you are looking for a pragmatic and rational solution to disentangle part of society from the mess of British government, I can fully understand.

Yes, and the UN gave dire warnings that when it's seen Nationalists marching in the streets, it doesn't take long for the nation to become authoritarian and take on "final solutions" to those considered "other" - foreign, of a different race, of a minority religion, of no religion, disabled, etc.
That is, unless we, as a society, do something to stop it. I don't just mean the government to stop it, but for it to be NOT OKAY societally to be a nationalist... shunning and outcasting works, and is preferable to more violent solutions.

@dunpender maybe I should have said "patriotism", which I still think is the root of all evil.
Money? I'm fine with that - Can't get enough if it.
