I Have A Concern

Something is living under and in the walls of my house. Its bigger than a mouse by far. I guess it could be a large rat but where would a rat come from? They are developing a large plot of land nearby. It was a wetland area with dry areas in it too. Maybe something decided to move in after losing its home but what is it and how to get rid of it?

@Thingschange4444 that would be too small and the noises it makes are like a scratching, chewing, and digging sounds. Sometimes you hear it in the ceiling and another time in the wall. Its favorite place is in between and below a shared wall separating two bathrooms

@morrgin Could well be a rat. Which isn't a nice thought. I love animals but I'd poison it. Is there any obvious ways it could have got in between wall cavities?

@morrgin Eew really. Well glad u found it. Get some traps or poison down incase there's more.
