Audio Books

I used to love to read, I find it difficult to find time to read these days but I'm hooked on audio books, when I was working in my office I would listen on the drive in, now I'm working from home if I'm doing simple tasks I'll listen or if I'm washing dishes, walking the dog I listen. Do you think there is the same benefit to listening to a book as there is reading it?

I tend to remember things far better listening to them.. Do old school book readers look down on audio books or even ebooks? Interested to see what people thoughts are on this.

I have an audible account and when I do my commute, I listen to some books. Sometimes I combine reading and listening. If I can’t focus on reading , I switch to listening to the audiobook.
My husband is the same, everytime he drives, he just listen to audibook.

@BloviatingBuffoon I started with podcasts and then moved on to audio books. First one I tried I gave up on but then after more podcast listening re tried the book and have never looked back since.
