I Don't Believe In Love

I've grown to believe "love" is bull shit. It doesn't exist. I have never seen any evidence that it does. I grew up being told the lie that I was loved when in fact I wasn't even liked. Anyone can say they "love" someone but that doesn't mean a damn thing. And I also feel like people throw that word around carelessly so they can get away with doing dumb shit. I can't fathom how a four-letter word, that doesn't exist, runs peoples lives. It's all fairytale wishes, Disney dreams, and movie cliches that seem to delude people into thinking that something so ridiculous actually exists.

@maybesomeday I don't even like taking care of myself, let alone a pet. Plus I forget to eat a lot and I'm sure I would starve an animal accidentally. I'm better off with a pet rock.

@Poeticdiva You'd be amazed at what you can do when you know you have responsibility for someone/something else other than yourself. There's a high possibility you will feed and give a pet the attention and care it needs, and you'll be amazed at how much it can positively affect how you feel and look after yourself as well.

@maybesomeday Every pet I've ever had has died. I think for the sake of those poor animals, I really shouldn't. And I really don't want to be responsible for anything or anyone else. I'm a very inattentive person. I'm so used to being on my own, I would rather stay that way.
