I Want My Mommy
My mom shut herself down from the world and all that shit. I mean she did go to the doctor and said nothing is wrong with her.
Everyone tells me to move on with my life and I'm a grown woman.
She doesn't even call us at all or even call on our birthday. I didnt wanna see that she "abandon" us but I guess she did. We took her back to her home state (Dad's home state too). They split up when I was 18 and my bro was 24. My dad moved on quickly and got a girlfriend. Anyways when I see people talk to their moms on the phone, I can't help but get envious. I used to be able to talk to my mom. My aunt had been involved more....well always has with me since mom left. She would ask me to spend the night sometimes or take me places so I wouldn't have to be in a house of "men". I do appricate and love her for that. My dad does too and said I needed a female "role model".
Mother's Day is hard too.
When I talk about mom, people cut me off and change the subject.
My mom had always been there for us. I miss the mother/daughter days. At least my bro and I will see this summer hopefully when this Covid 19 thing ends.
I'm tired of people telling me to move on and I feel like people are harder on me since my mom left (we took her back to their home state). I've always depended on my mom and I need her. I know I'm 30 and you guys are thinking "You're grown. You don't need her!"
