Sometimes I wonder if I will ever be a dad

And I know some on here are like, "the world is too screwed up anyways, why bring a kid into it?" But sadly I still grieve sometimes

What is it particularly about being a parent that you desire?
PhantomMagic88 · 36-40, M
@GypsyMiss probably just the same reason most guys who want to become dads desire, a family

@PhantomMagic88 the reason I ask is would you be happy with a pre-made family? My ex-husbands wife has spent her life grieving not being to have children, desperate to have a family - then she gets an instant family and despises them!

@GypsyMiss well sadly that just shows that something else besides gratitude lay at the heart of her desire :(

Can't relate. I spent my teens and early 20s raising other people's kids, so now I have no desire for my own.
At least your a man and don't go through menopause

Find the right woman to marry and go for it.

If you really want to be one than you will someday just keep working on yourself so you'll be the best dad when the opportunity arises.

If u’re in a solid relationship, sure, go ahead and be a dad...if think u’d make a good one, but wait til the pandemic is over.
Is there a reason you aren't yet? Haven't met a woman you like who wants to be a mother?

I hope you find happiness, and have a kid some day.

Yes the western world in particular is ""screwed up"" when it comes to family and relationships.. That's sadly true..

And Yes we do grieve for the Daughter and Son we shall never have to love..

Such is life in hate mongering femnazie world..
