I adress older persons as Ma'am and Sir

My Daddy always trained me to adress older persons respectfully with Sir and Ma'am, and so I do.
Some people say to me that only female fetishists still say Sir but that's just my education!

I did that when I was younger, but I don’t demand that. There are other ways to speak respectfully, and it goes both ways.
