I adress older persons as Ma'am and Sir

My Daddy always trained me to adress older persons respectfully with Sir and Ma'am, and so I do.
Some people say to me that only female fetishists still say Sir but that's just my education!

I didn’t always say that but certainly at least “Mr.” and “Mrs./Ms” When I was a bartender it was always “sir” and “ma’am.”
